DESCRIPTION:Bisbee Woman’s Club Home Tour Returns to Old Bisbee\nHygge In Bisbee – The Cozy & Quirky Artistic Homes of Old Bisbee\nBISBEE AZ – Mark your calendars for Friday\, November 29 and Saturday\, November 30\, from 10a.m. –\n4p.m.\, for the 40th annual Bisbee Home Tour and Art Chairs & More Auction presented by the Bisbee\nWoman’s Club.\nOur theme this year reflects the quaint and quirky homes of Old Bisbee – Hygge in Bisbee. “Hygge” is a\nDanish/Norwegian word which describes a cozy quality that makes a person feel content and\ncomfortable. A Hygge (pronounced “hoo-gah”) home makes up for what it may lack in size with a\nwelcoming environment full of warmth\, charm\, and art. Many of the homes you will visit began their\nlives as small miner’s cabins\, and through the years have evolved into artful abodes reflecting the\ndiverse aesthetics of their owners. \nIn addition to six unique homes\, three hotels are included on the tour\, some of them not yet open to the\ngeneral public. The Bisbee Woman’s Club is excited to invite you in for a sneak peek into these intriguing\nplaces to stay downtown.\nAlso taking place on the 29th & 30th is the Art\, Chairs & More Auction. The show will feature paintings\,\nphotos\, collages\, textiles\, ceramics\, hand-made jewelry\, artistically altered furniture and more and will\nbe held at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church parish hall\, located at 100 Quality Hill in Old Bisbee\nThis year the Bisbee Woman’s Club is making the Home Tour even more user friendly with the addition\nof a QR code on the tickets that will direct attendees to a Google map and a suggested walking route.\nFor fans of tradition\, the ticket also includes a hand drawn map by long-standing Woman’s Club member\nand local artist\, Judy Perry. \nAdvance tickets will be available November 1st from the following retailers: On Consignment Bisbee\n(100 Bisbee Traffic Circle)\, Bisbee Books and Music (2 Main Street #1601) and Sorted Past (422 Arizona\nStreet). Advance tickets are available online through Eventbrite. Day of tickets will be available in the\nparish hall of Saint Patrick’s Church at 100 Quality Hill.\nThe Annual Home Tour is always the Friday & Saturday following Thanksgiving and serves as the Bisbee\nWoman’s Club’s principal fundraiser.
